The Advanced Open Water Course is a diving educational program that provides a structured way to gain new diving experiences and explore special diving interests. The program is designed for flexibility and customization.

Divers enrolled in this program will spend their time diving and not in the classroom.

Prior to going on the dives, the student will complete some questions in the PADI Adventures in Diving Manual or through eLearning on line then reviewing the performance requirements for the dive with their dive instructor.

Each “adventure” dive counts as the first dive towards a PADI specialty certification.

The course takes 2-3 days to complete.

Required dives include a deep dive (60-100 ft) and a navigation dive, with intense use of a compass and other navigation skills. The other three dives are elective dives that the student chooses.

 Minimum age is 10 to become a Junior Adventure Diver and 15 to be Advanced Open Water Diver. Call today to register for a class.
